Doesn't appear to be a serial number on the foot, either. I beat some of the paint off of the side of the anvil to reveal the weight, but there are no markings in that area whatsoever. The number 7 is on one side of the square hole just under the base of the horn, and the number 17 or just 7 on the right side. Drove through a unseasonable white-out California snowstorm bringing it back. Dimensions: 26' overall length, face is 3.75W X 15' L, horn is 10.75' long, 9.125' in overall height. Makes it sit flat without rocking on most stumps or mounting stands. Every one that I have ever been able to examine has that detail: thin raised rim around a recessed base. 99.9 sure that you have a Hay-Budden, due to the 'picture frame' on the base.
